Study of Cerebral Potentials in Parkinson's disease

Long latency evoked potentials in disorders of higher cognitive function and movement

This study investigates the relationship between sensory perception and the decision to move in people with Parkinson's disease.  The study involves measuring brain and muscle activity in association with auditory stimuli.  The study aims to find a better understanding of particular brain activity in association with Parkinson's disease, which may be useful for diagnosis and treatment of the disease.


  • Classic Parkinson's disease, or Patients with PD and a DBS implant
  • Patient needed for 1 visit lasting 3 hours
